For nearly 30 years, I have worked at the park, spending 18 years as an actor. Through continuous learning, my mindset, leadership skills, and other abilities have improved over time. Starting from being an actor, I was later promoted to a supervisor and subsequently transferred internally to become a Learning and Development Manager where I designed employee training courses. Currently, I serve as the Mayor of Whisker Village in the Fun Learning Department where I promote conservation and education messages in a joyful atmosphere, fostering friendships with tourists and ultimately making them feel the warmth of Whisker villagers.
Working at the Ocean Park requires one to step out of their comfort zone and possess the mentality to face challenges. Despite any skill gaps, we encourage Whisker villagers to undergo training to improve their performance. However, if they do not have a positive attitude and willingness to change, even with ability, it will be difficult to succeed.
Self-improvement is key to realizing employee value and achieving mutual benefits for both the Park and its employees. By enhancing personal abilities first, I can better leverage team members' abilities and achieve overall success.
